From September 17 to 24, Seattle and its surrounding areas will become one large celebration venue. The week will begin with concerts, wine walks, museum evenings, and food festivals, followed by fairs, film festivals, art markets, sporting events, and unusual city shows. Highlights include the Washington State Fair, Fremont Oktoberfest, the Nordic Film Festival, the Boats Afloat Show, and the Luminata lantern parade. But the schedule goes beyond major events: visitors can also enjoy tours of art studios, theater premieres, farm festivals, and trips outside the city.
