Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez held a working seminar with representatives of the United Nations to develop a Reconstruction Plan for areas affected by the double earthquake on June 24. She praised the organization’s coordinator, Giancarlo Ramponi, for his work in the life-saving phase and stressed that the next step now is to restore social and physical infrastructure. The program’s goal is not just to return everything to how it was before the disaster, but to improve conditions in a meaningful way—drawing on international experience and coordinated assistance.
