The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has completed cleanup work at homes damaged by the Spokane Complex fires. In particular, the Old Trails fire on Aug. 4 destroyed homes and other structures in Spokane’s Rifle Club neighborhood, leaving behind charred and ruined remains, including a staircase leading nowhere.
